Terms of service

Last updated: 26 August 2026

1. Who these terms are with

Team and Tricks is provided by Team and Tricks Ltd, registered in England and Wales. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You need a valid email address and must be at least 16. Keep your password to yourself — you're responsible for what happens under your account.

An organisation is owned by the person who created it, or whoever holds the Owner role. Owners and administrators control who joins, what roles people hold, and what guests can see.

3. Plans and payment

Free includes 3 users, 1 GB of storage, 25 guests, and a monthly allowance of TAI usage.

Pro costs $30 per month, or $288 per year, and includes 8 users, 5 GB of storage per user, unlimited guests, and a larger monthly TAI allowance.

Add-ons. Extra users are $3 per user per month, or $28 per year. TAI usage is $12 per month, or $115 per year. Both plans can buy add-ons.

Payment is taken by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax we're required to charge.

Adding and removing. Adding users or add-ons mid-cycle is charged pro rata, and you get the matching share of the allowance straight away. Removals take effect at the end of your current billing period — we don't issue partial refunds mid-cycle.

Usage allowances reset every month, whether you pay monthly or yearly. Unused allowance doesn't carry over.

Price changes. If we raise prices we'll tell you before it affects you, and we'll say at the time whether existing customers keep their current price.

4. If a payment fails

We'll retry the payment for about fourteen days while your service continues normally, though your seat count and storage are frozen where they are and part of your monthly allowance is held.

If it still hasn't been paid, the subscription is cancelled and we void the unpaid invoice — we won't chase you for it. You then get a fourteen-day grace period on Free-level allowances.

At the end of that, your organisation moves to the Free plan. If you have more members than Free allows, the organisation becomes read-only until you upgrade or reduce members. We never delete your data because of a missed payment. Upgrading restores everything.

The grace period is available once per organisation in any twelve months, and only if you've paid at least one invoice before.

5. Inactive free accounts

Free organisations with no activity for six months are emailed a warning and then removed. Paid organisations are never removed for inactivity.

6. Your content

Your content is yours. We don't claim ownership of it.

You give us permission to store, copy, transmit and display it only so far as we need to in order to run the service for you — including sending relevant parts to our AI providers when you use TAI. That permission ends when you delete the content or close your account.

You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.

7. TAI

TAI prepares changes for you to confirm. It does not make changes to your organisation's data on its own.

Because you confirm each change, you are responsible for it. Review what TAI has prepared before you apply it. AI models make mistakes, and we don't warrant that anything TAI produces is accurate, complete or suitable for your purposes.

TAI works within the permissions of the person using it. It cannot do anything you couldn't do yourself.

An administrator can turn AI features off for the whole organisation.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use Team and Tricks to break the law, infringe someone's rights, send spam, upload malware, or try to get at other customers' data. Don't attempt to circumvent plan limits, resell the service, or use automated means to extract data at scale.

We may suspend an account that's causing harm to the service or to other customers. Where we can, we'll tell you first.

9. Availability

We aim to keep Team and Tricks running, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may take it down for maintenance, and we'll give notice where that's practical. There is no service level agreement on the current plans.

10. Liability

Team and Tricks is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties.

We're not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be excluded under English law.

11. Ending it

You can stop using Team and Tricks whenever you like — cancel from billing settings and it ends at the close of your current period. You can export or delete your content before you go.

We can end these terms if you break them seriously, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we'll give reasonable notice and a refund of anything you've prepaid for time you won't get.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll email account owners before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept it.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
