What is TAI?
TAI is an AI teammate built into Team and Tricks. It sits in a chat window you can open anywhere in the product, and it can read your work and prepare changes to it.
The important part is what it doesn't do. TAI never changes anything by itself. It prepares the change, shows you the filled-in form, and waits. You press Apply change and it happens, or Stop and nothing does.
What can TAI do?
Roughly anything you can do yourself. Create and update tasks, set due dates and reminders, assign people, add and tick off checklist items, write progress reports, create and reply to requests, start and stop timers, and look up anything across your organisation.
When it prepares something, you get the actual form with the values filled in — not a suggestion to go and do it. If TAI picked the wrong date or the wrong person, change it there and confirm. You're editing the thing before it happens, not correcting it afterwards.
TAI also remembers what you give it. Paste text or attach a file, and it can go back and read those later — including images, which it reads and stores as text. Your memory is yours; other people can't read it.
How does TAI work with the rest of Team and Tricks?
TAI uses the same actions the buttons use. When you click something in Team and Tricks, it runs a tool. When TAI does it for you, it runs the same tool, as you. So it can only reach what you can reach — a member asking TAI to do something only an admin can do gets the same refusal they'd get from the interface. There's no separate set of AI permissions to configure or get wrong.
It also follows up without being asked. When a deadline is close or has passed, or when a task has been sitting as a draft, TAI raises it with you. There's no automation builder and no rules to write.
One thing at a time: TAI prepares a single change, you confirm it, then it moves to the next. It won't queue up a batch of edits behind one button.
TAI is on unless an admin turns it off in organisation settings. Free plans include a smaller monthly amount of TAI usage and Pro includes more; either can buy extra, and the amount resets each month.
