What is a guest?
A guest is someone outside your team who can see part of your work. They're not a teammate. They never appear in your Members list, they're never assigned to anything, and they don't take a paid seat.
They see what you grant them — whole projects, or specific tasks inside a project — and nothing else. Public projects and team-wide visibility settings don't apply to them.
What can a guest do?
See what you've granted them, and raise requests.
A request from a guest goes straight to the owners, admins and managers in your organisation — they don't have to pick anyone, and they can't accidentally send it to the wrong person. You reply in a thread, and the whole exchange stays in one place instead of scattering across email.
Three things are off by default and can be turned on per guest: reading or writing comments, using TAI, and seeing who's on your team.
What can't a guest do?
Chat, documents, contacts, time tracking, team administration and organisation settings are all closed to guests. They can't create or edit work, and they can't be assigned to anything.
How is this different from other tools?
Most project tools either charge for guest seats or hand out read-only links with no way to reply. A guest here gets a real channel back to you — a request with a thread — so a client can ask for something and get an answer where the work already lives.
How many guests can I have?
25 on Free, unlimited on Pro. Anything a guest uploads counts against your organisation's storage.
